Cowork ZIP exports lost the delivered page (#54). Since ~Aug 2026 Cowork publishes its output pages via the Artifact tool instead of SendUserFile, so exports silently dropped the deliverable — the ZIP only contained screenshots. The exporter now parses Artifact publish records, rebuilds each page offline by replaying the session's Write/Edit history (falling back to fetching the published URL), and bundles it under outputs/. Pages without a <meta charset> declaration get one prepended so CJK exports open from the ZIP without mojibake.
attachments/ now contains user uploads only (#55). Claude's own render-check screenshots (inline tool_result images from the Artifact QA loop) are no longer bundled as if the user had uploaded them; they remain visible in the transcript when tool details are enabled. Deliverables continue to travel via outputs/.
Cowork transcripts no longer show fake "You:" turns (#54). Runtime-injected user events — Skill instruction text (isSynthetic) and subagent prompt echoes (parent_tool_use_id) — are dropped from human attribution; genuinely queued prompts are unaffected. A fan-out session that previously rendered 10 "You" turns now shows the 1 the user actually typed.

Tall photos no longer break PDF pagination. An uncapped phone photo rendered at natural size could span three printed pages — splitting mid-image and stretching the message bubble into a full blank page. Embedded images are now height-capped (~⅔ of a printed page, aspect ratio preserved) and always land whole on one page, caption included. Applies to Claude and ChatGPT uploads, generated images, and Cowork inline images alike.

Your uploads, finally in your exports. Images you uploaded now render inline in PDF & HTML exports (free). Batch ZIP exports now include the actual files you uploaded — images and PDFs as original bytes — instead of silently skipping them (Pro). Plus batch-export buttons on the chat-list pages.

Exports no longer carry the full metadata block by default — it made shared PDFs look cluttered.

Lite header by default — every export (Markdown / HTML / PDF / TXT) keeps just the useful basics: model + created/updated dates. The extra traceability fields (provider label, export time, source URL, YAML front matter) are now opt-in via Settings → "Include full metadata".
Fixed the "Source" field in PDFs — it used to render as a bare "Source" link whose URL was invisible in print (so it looked empty). When full metadata is on, it now shows the actual URL as text.

Fixes project export for accounts that belong to more than one Claude organization (for example, a personal account plus a Team or Enterprise workspace). Previously the extension asked the wrong organization for the project and failed with a 404 — even though project export worked fine on single-organization accounts.

0.4.1 makes ChatGPT export work right after install — no more "Enable on ChatGPT" step.

chatgpt.com is now a standard site permission (like claude.ai), so the Export button appears on ChatGPT automatically.
Dropped the scripting and activeTab permissions — the extension now requests only storage + unlimitedStorage and access to claude.ai / chatgpt.com.
Existing users: because this adds chatgpt.com as a required site, your browser will ask you to re-enable the extension once after updating. Accept it and you're set.

Claude export, Projects, Cowork, batch, attachments, and unlimited free PDF are unchanged.

Assets — unpacked store builds (Chrome/Edge/Firefox). Safari ships via the App Store build.

Turning it on
ChatGPT access is opt-in — open the extension on a chatgpt.com tab and click “Enable on ChatGPT” once. Nothing is uploaded; conversations are read in your browser using your existing ChatGPT session.

Existing Claude users
Nothing to re-approve and nothing changes — the update adds no permission warnings; your Claude exports, settings, and license are untouched. ChatGPT and Claude keep independent export themes.

Under the hood

Clean transcripts: browsing/search tool noise and citation markers are stripped; only the visible conversation is exported.
An automated end-to-end suite drives the real extension against live ChatGPT before each release, alongside an independent code-review pass.

New: Cowork export. Claude's agentic Cowork tasks (the claude.ai/cowork/<id> surface, distinct from chats and projects) now export like any conversation. The full transcript renders in every format — Markdown / HTML / PDF / JSON / TXT — with the user prompts, Claude's replies, and a readable trace of the tools the task ran.
