Cutter — skip the silence av Cutter

Cutter fast-forwards silent and low-volume parts of any HTML5 video in real time — speech stays at 1×, quiet stretches fly by. Entirely in your browser, no account needed. Perfect for
lectures, talks, streams and online courses.

HOW IT WORKS
Cutter attaches a Web Audio API analyser to any <video> element on the page. When the sound drops below your threshold, playback speeds up (2×–8×, adjustable). The moment someone speaks,
it snaps back to 1×. No pre-processing, no waiting, no data sent anywhere.

WHAT'S FREE
• Real-time silence skipping on any site with HTML5 video.
• Adjustable skip speed and sensitivity (dB threshold).
• "Skip silence fully" toggle.
• Fully local — your video and audio never leave your device.
• Works in Chrome, Chromium, Yandex Browser and Firefox.
• No account required.

WHAT PRO ADDS (coming soon)
• Smart trim on YouTube: our server analyses a clip once and returns a "speed map" that physically cuts silence out — not just speeds it up.
• Per-site profiles, filler-word detection, time-saved stats.

PRIVACY
For the basic skip Cutter sends nothing anywhere. For the optional Pro smart-trim on YouTube, only the public YouTube video ID is sent — never your audio or video data. Full policy:
