Version 0.3.2
Släppt 7 sep 2026 - 8,09 MBFungerar med firefox 142.0 och senareVersion 0.3.2 adds Hermes Bot Mode, live group chats, AI tab triage, truthful page-only context, and faster local Desktop discovery. This package also includes connection, profile, and session fixes landed after the initial 0.3.2 drop.
Added
- Hermes Bot Mode: dedicated multi-agent roster with profile switching, lazy model loading, and instant agent opening.
- Live Group Chat and Threads: multi-agent room projections, collaborative thread tracking, and synchronized conversation histories without blank chat states.
- AI Tab Triage (/sort-tabs, /organize-tabs, /clean-tabs, /categorize-tabs, /triage-tabs): analyzes open tabs, clusters them (Projects, Research, Social, Productivity, Stale/Duplicates), finds redundant URLs, and builds a removal checklist.
- Full-width Page only action, plus side-by-side Include all tabs and AI Triage Tabs, with hover descriptions.
- Multi-keyword tab search across titles and URLs, with a match-count badge. Enter toggles a match, Escape clears.
Fixed
- Dynamic loopback Desktop discovery across ephemeral ports, so local connect is no longer stuck around 40 seconds.
- Session paging now respects the dashboard limit of 100 per page, fixing dashboard-sessions-422 and restoring full session lists.
- Startup no longer freezes waiting on loopback endpoints. Readiness steps report in order with strict timeouts.
- False "Invalid gateway API key API_SERVER_KEY" banners on named profiles. Loopback pairing token auth and dashboard WebSocket fallback are used instead.
- Page only is truthful: prompt shows 1/N, the active page is IN, other tabs are OUT, and the model never receives unselected tabs.
- Local Bot Mode profile discovery when Dashboard authentication replaces the root page with sign-in HTML. Public status identifies the dashboard; the trusted signed-in tab and one-use WebSocket ticket load the real roster.
- Hardcoded profile fallbacks and avatars are gone. Roster, avatars, and preview cards come from the live authenticated dashboard over the active gateway connection.
- Group chat member avatars hydrate and align correctly.
- Exiting Bot Mode no longer drops dashboard WebSocket transport or connection state.
- Connection test verifies the desktop dashboard WebSocket even if the API port is offline.
- Pin and reset keep the current conversation identity and refuse snapshots from a different session, profile, or gateway.
- Skills load for the active profile over dashboard WebSocket on local, remote, and cloud.

Version 0.3.1
Släppt 27 aug 2026 - 7,89 MBFungerar med firefox 142.0 och senareVersion 0.3.1 focuses on connection reliability and fixes a page-injection crash.
• Fixed automatic gateway pairing when your Hermes runtime requires an API key. Connect to Hermes now opens the approval screen instead of dropping to manual setup.
• Fixed a repeated "Identifier 'browserApi' has already been declared" error that could appear in Vivaldi and other Chromium browsers after content scripts were re-injected.
• Content-script recovery is now probe-first: only missing scripts are injected after an extension reload, instead of re-running every script.
• Startup timing instrumentation and an internal operations toolkit were added (no user-visible change).
• No changes to permissions or host access in this release.

Version 0.3.0
Släppt 22 aug 2026 - 7,88 MBFungerar med firefox 142.0 och senareHermes Browser Extension v0.3.0
This is the largest Hermes Browser Extension update so far, with major improvements to browser context, local-document workflows, session reliability, privacy, customization, and the overall Firefox experience.
WHAT'S NEW
• Added approved local HTML, browser-rendered PDF, and localhost workflows. Local files require both Firefox file access and explicit Hermes Browser approval.
• Added configurable right-click actions with current-session, new-session, and background routing.
• Expanded localization across 21 languages and added complete browser-native locale packs.
• Improved Hermes Assist reliability, model routing, session creation, launcher placement, safe draft application, and duplicate-injection protection.
• Added stronger Cloud session continuity, dashboard profile discovery, asynchronous delegation recovery, and session-scoped model/provider selection.
• Added cross-surface text zoom, accessibility-focused font profiles, validated custom themes, VS Code theme imports, and Agent Theme Studio.
• Improved the Side Panel settings experience with a persistent header Save action, compact close control, clearer button alignment, and simplified settings organization.
• Fixed Issue #73 by opening the /commands and skill menus above the composer, keeping long prompts visible without covering or compressing the text area.
• Improved startup diagnostics, control-state presentation, attachment controls, keyboard behavior, reduced-motion support, and responsive layouts.
• Added stable Firefox add-on identity and Mozilla-hosted automatic update support.
SECURITY AND PRIVACY
• Sensitive fields, credentials, payment information, MFA values, restricted browser pages, stale document references, and credential-bearing URLs fail closed.
• Browser context remains explicitly user-controlled and bounded.
• Local-document access does not bypass sensitive-action or restricted-page protections.
• Controller and companion diagnostics retain bounded metadata and redacted receipts only. They do not persist raw page text, typed values, credentials, screenshots, response bodies, PDFs, or uploaded file contents.
• Hermes Browser does not request cookies, browsing history, bookmarks, password-manager access, or native messaging.
FIREFOX COMPATIBILITY
This release supports Firefox 142 and newer.
Firefox receives the capability-safe WebExtension feature set. Chromium-only debugger access and trusted-input browser control are not enabled or claimed on Firefox.
