The pink should be more purple and lighter while the purple should be darker. It looks like all you did was add a gif. First of all, the background of the animated part is lighter than the pitch black of the other side. The gif is also low quality. Everytime it moves, it goes back down and doesn't do a full cycle. Even if you worked hard on it, it looks lazy.
