Mirror for YouTube av katarinabluu

Mirror for YouTube is a lightweight extension that flips YouTube videos horizontally.
Perfect for following along with dance, instrument, or workout tutorials — mirror the video so left and right match your own movements.

Features
• Toggle mirroring on/off with a single toolbar click
• Flips only the video itself — captions, progress bar, controls, and comments remain unchanged
• Works in fullscreen, theater mode, miniplayer, and Shorts
• Mirroring persists when navigating between videos within YouTube
• Toolbar icon reflects the current tab's mirror state

How it works
• State is per tab. Reloading or closing the tab resets it.
• Runs only on www.youtube.com and m.youtube.com; other sites are unaffected.
• No settings storage, no network requests, no data collection. The "tabs" permission is used solely to keep the toolbar icon in sync per tab.

Known limitations
• Picture-in-Picture windows are rendered directly by the browser and are not mirrored.
• Embedded YouTube players (iframes) on other sites are not supported.
