Personally i don't use the "always open in container" feature, as i am using the same url with different logins in parallel, which would lead to a mess if I start using the feature. Keeping this limitation in mind, the tool does, what it is designed to do.

③ Using it with tools like “Temporary Containers” causes containers to multiply infinitely
④ To prevent infinite container growth, stop combining tools and modify “Temporary Containers” settings

I REALLY REALLY wish they had a sort feature for the containers and/or a way to nest them in a folder-like structure. When I move to a new PC, all my containers are out of order. I just want a single click alphabetize.
