neuro-rsvp is a speed-reading tool that turns text on any website into a fast, single-word stream using RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation). Instead of moving your eyes across lines, words flash one at a time in a fixed spot — each with its Optimal Recognition Point letter highlighted in red and pinned to center — so your eyes stay still and you read noticeably faster.

Feed it text three ways: highlight any selection and click the little "Read" button that pops up (or press Alt+R), let it auto-extract the main article from the page you're on, or paste your own text straight into the panel.

The reader docks to the left or right side of the page and stays open while you read. Set your speed from the presets (150–1200 wpm) or type a custom value. "Smart pauses" make it feel natural rather than robotic — longer and multi-syllable words, sentence and clause punctuation, numbers, and paragraph breaks each get a little more time, and you can dial that intensity up or down. A context line shows the surrounding words so you never lose your place, a progress bar lets you click to jump anywhere, and it auto-pauses when you switch tabs.

Full keyboard control (space to play/pause, arrows to step words or change speed), adjustable word size, and a clean, distraction-free interface with an optional page-dimming focus mode.
