RE-Pilot — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Reap of Despair LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the RE-Pilot browser extension (the "Extension"), available for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Microsoft Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Arc) and for Mozilla Firefox.

RE-Pilot helps real-estate professionals draft property descriptions. It reads basic listing details from a supported listing page you are viewing, lets you add leasing parameters, and uses a third-party AI service to generate descriptive text. We have designed the Extension to collect as little personal information as possible.

1. Information We Process

a. Listing and input data. When you use the Extension on a supported listing site (Zillow or StreetEasy), it reads publicly displayed listing details from the active tab — such as the property address, price, and number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage — and combines them with the leasing parameters you enter (for example tone, length, financial terms, pet policy, features, amenities, and showing details). This information is sent to our backend service to generate a property description or neighborhood summary. The Extension only reads page content on supported listing sites and only when you choose to pull or generate.

b. License key and device identifier. When you start a subscription, you receive a license key. The Extension stores this key and a randomly generated device identifier on your device and sends them to our backend to verify your subscription and to limit each license to one device. The device identifier is a random value generated by the Extension; it is not your name, email, or any government identifier.

c. Address autocomplete queries. If you type in the address field, the partial text is sent to our backend, which forwards it to a third-party address-suggestion service (see Section 4) to return matching US addresses.

d. Payment and account information. Payments and subscriptions are handled by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages. When you subscribe, you provide your email and payment details directly to Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive from Stripe only the information needed to operate your subscription, such as your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and your subscription status.

2. How We Use Information

• To generate property descriptions and neighborhood summaries you request.
• To provide address suggestions while you type.
• To verify your subscription, enforce the one-device license, and provide customer support.
• To process payments and manage your subscription (via Stripe).
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service (for example, rate limiting).

We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track your general browsing activity.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The Extension stores the following locally in your browser's extension storage, on your device:

• Your saved form settings and leasing parameters.
• The most recently generated description and neighborhood summary.
• Your license key and the random device identifier.

You can remove this local data at any time using the Extension's "Clear" control, by clearing your browser's extension storage, or by uninstalling the Extension. (Clearing settings does not remove your license key so that your subscription remains active.)

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following service providers (sub-processors) solely to provide the Extension's functionality:

Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy: Anthropic, Cloudflare, Stripe, and OpenStreetMap. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Data Retention

• On your device: retained until you clear it or uninstall the Extension.
• License and subscription records: retained for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support renewals, billing, and abuse prevention.
• Generation requests: processed to produce your output; we do not maintain a durable database of your listing inputs beyond what is necessary to operate and troubleshoot the service. Anthropic's handling of content it receives is governed by its own policies and commercial terms.
• Payment data: retained by Stripe under its policies.

6. Security

Our AI provider's API key is held only on our backend and is never included in the Extension or exposed to your browser. Traffic between the Extension, our backend, and our providers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR; California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.

8. International Transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, such transfers are carried out using appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

RE-Pilot is a professional tool intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
