RustGuard Pairing Helper — Privacy Policy

The RustGuard Pairing Helper browser extension exists solely to link your Steam / Rust+ account with your RustGuard account.

Data we process:
- During pairing, and only on the official Rust+ login page (companion-rust.facepunch.com), the extension captures your Rust+ login token and Steam ID after you sign in with Steam.

How we use it:
- The token and Steam ID are sent directly to your own RustGuard account (rustguard-api.feast-labs.com) to complete pairing.
- The extension does not store your token. It keeps only a temporary, single-use pairing session identifier in local extension storage, which is deleted immediately after the token is uploaded.

What we do not do:
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than pairing.
- We do not collect analytics or track your browsing.

The extension is active only on companion-rust.facepunch.com and rustguard.feast-labs.com. It does not read or act on any other website.
