Om detta tillägg
You know the routine. You find a video that's blowing up in your niche, so you screenshot it, copy the link, paste it into some doc you'll probably never open again. Then you do it forty more times and call it research.
This fixes that.
Shakespear.ai Research sits right on the YouTube pages you're already on. When a video catches your eye, save it to a research project and start tracking the channel as a competitor — all without leaving the page you're watching. There's a little outlier chip that lights up when a video is doing better than that channel usually does, so the stuff that's actually working is easy to spot.
Here's where it shows up:
On a video or Short, you can save it for a breakdown, add it to a project, and follow the channel as a competitor. Turn on "Auto-analyze after save" and it'll kick off a full breakdown the moment you save — nothing else to click.
On your home feed, search, and suggestions, there's a quick "add to project" button right on the thumbnails, so you can grab an idea the second it shows up.
On a channel page, you can open Import in a new tab and start tracking that channel too.
Never heard of Shakespear.ai? Quick version.
It's where creators go to turn research into an actual published video, and this extension is how the videos get in there. Once they land, the app takes over:
Research reads your saved videos and competitor channels and tells you what's really going on — the hooks, the structure, why the outliers popped. It'll look across a whole batch at once to find the patterns, and the ideas worth keeping turn straight into a create project.
Create takes that research and helps you write the thing — a full series or a single Short — in a screenplay editor with a reusable shot library, where you can regenerate any piece without redoing the rest. Your rules, presets, and brand voice come along automatically.
Reflect connects your own channel and pulls out what your audience is actually saying — comment themes, the questions that keep coming up, the analytics — so your next video can answer them.
It's built for people who take this seriously, solo or on a team: shared workspaces, real permissions, everything kept to the right project.
Hit Connect in the popup to link your account, and your saves go straight to the right workspace. No API keys to deal with — it just uses your signed-in session, and it only ever touches YouTube and Shakespear.ai.
Install the extension, then request access at https://shakespear.ai, and start turning what you watch into what you publish.
