    Hi, yeah, it's described in the description. I've tried a few things to make it usable in Facebook as well, it may be possible. But no ETA for it.

    added it only for 9gag, now every video player has 2 video progress bars, its quite annoying, excluding every single website with video players is out of the question, would be nice if there was an option to enable extension only on chosen websites

    Doesn't work on "lazy loading" pages, need to reload the page with F5 to enable auto show of controls.
    Example: joyreactor.cc/tag/webm

    Update: nothing changed in v.4.0.0 on Firefox 145. You need to scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Next" to see the problem.

    Works great for my specific use case of pausing Hyperbeam streams on mobile Firefox (so I can chat on my phone while watching on the TV and not waste battery with the video). Nice!

    Maybe I'm missing something, but on the latest version of Firefox on Mac, I don't see any video controls on animated GIFs after restarting the browser. For example, this site, www.easygifanimator.net/samples.php

    Yep. I see now, I'll be releasing a new version adjusting this extension info for what it's really made to work with (html webm videos, not gifs (images)). It was my mistake, original dev included gifs to its info description, but it only works on video files. Have a nice day. :)

    Hi. Yeah, it works on videos with "video/video" tag in HTML DOM.

    Is there any sites this works on? not 9gag, not redgif, not any site that I have seen. The few sites that have the ability do right click and pause a video lose that ability after you install this. Why can't there be controls by default on all videos, like there always has been until FailureGoogle decided to change and take control of everything!

    I thought it can play any video with controls but not it's not like Samsung Internet browser video assistant! It can only play webm and gifs!

    Work as intended on Firedox for Android.
    I was frustrated to not have the option to display the controls like in the desktop version of Firefox. This Add-on solved my issue.

    (A must have for 9gag users on firefox mobile)

    can it be made so buttons area/bar/overlay hidden by default and only auto activated when you mouse hover the video area? as the extension enables it on website it kinda blocks the videos when enabled permenantly for every video and only dissapears when you hover on the video
