Om detta tillägg
Know what a post is worth before you read it. Slaze is a community quality layer for your feed: a small badge on every post across Reddit, X, and YouTube carrying a verdict from the people who already read it, like Community Gold, Buried Gem, Certified Brainrot, Bot Residue, and over a hundred more. One glance tells you whether something is worth your time, or whether it is an ad in disguise, AI filler, or bait built to keep you scrolling.
Found something the crowd has not rated yet? Tap Slaze.it on the post and pick up to three of nine labels: Genuine, Helpful, and Wholesome on the positive side; Ad and Promo, AI Slop, Bait, Brainrot, Misleading, and Rant on the negative. Three picks, no more. That limit is the whole point. It makes you name what a post actually is instead of piling on, and it produces a signal far harder to fake than a single arrow.
Verdicts hold up because Slaze does not simply add votes together. The engine studies how labels cluster into a clean consensus, a split, or a real dispute, weighs how long people actually spent with a post before judging it, and compares all of that against the attention the post is already getting. Ten thousand upvotes behind a wall of Ad and Promo is a very different post from a hundred upvotes behind a wall of Helpful. Slaze says so.
The layer itself stays out of the way. Badges are styled to match each site, so they feel native rather than bolted on. Feeds stay fast. One switch turns the whole layer off whenever you want. Reading verdicts is free and needs no account. Voting takes a free sign-in, which is what keeps bots and brigades out of the ratings, and it costs about ten seconds.
Slaze is private by default. No ads, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics. Slaze never reads your messages, your browsing history, or anything outside the posts in front of you; the only data it sends is a post identifier, and only to fetch that post's verdict. Your own votes and viewed posts exist solely to power your personal statistics, which you can turn off at any time. The extension is open source, so you can verify every word of this yourself.
Slaze works on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Install it and see your feed for what it is.
