I was amazed by how much better my Twitch experience got with this player. My internet is OK but both the official player and streamlink lag constantly, this one goes 1080p60 95% of the time without any lags. WP!

Good add-on. Works better then the normal twitch website for me.

Only problem is that since a few weeks the chat doesn't work. It keeps asking me te login and when i do nothing happens. So i either have to not chat or switch to normal website (which keeps switching the quality settings...)

Works okay, but my main problem is that it loses a lot of twitch functionality. I'm especially interested in "currently online followed" list on the left. Is there a way to bring it back while using this extension? Otherwise I have no complaints.

all of a sudden the chat panel is white and tells me to click login and open an external window. when i do it just goes doesn't work and i can't chat at all. tried reinstall.

*** Second update to my review. I'm dropping my rating down to 2 stars. It feels like the dev has abandoned the extension. Haven't had an update in over a year and every day more and more of the streams I follow get hit with the mystical "stream is encrypted" error rendering the extension 100% useless. It is still a great extension for the streams it works for and i will continue using it until the day it stops working for the last streamer I follow but I REALLY hope the dev fixes the extension.***

This extension is one of the most important plugins I run. The ability to resize the playing window is absolutely game changing. All the customization options are extremely helpful. I would LOVE something like this for Youtube... hint hint

It's been great in the past 2 months that I've been using it, but recently the video has been freezing randomly like the other recent reviews say. Audio continues to play however. Simply pausing/unpausing as well as refreshing the tab will only give me a black video. I have to close and reopen the tab to fix it, but it will freeze again eventually. This doesn't happen in the native player. This is a great extension, please look into this issue!

*Update* I get the same outcome even after disabling webrender.

Great addon, but as of last night the app doesnt appear or work in firefox, brave, or any other browser that I installed it on. It shows up in the extension, but not where it should be to click to activate it when a streamers live stream starts. Either its outdated, or the browsers did an update.

Love the add on, would love for this to support BetterTwitchTV add on as well.

EDIT: Like SPF before me, for some reason this extension will load the stream player itself but won't load the chat in Firefox. But I did notice that with this extension, chat loads without a problem in a Firefox fork like Comodo IceDragon.

Really great, just wish it could run twitch addons.

It's pretty great, just set it up by yourself, it's more advanced then the default one of course.

But how to play archived streams? I tried adding this after ext. adress -> "player.html?videos=421388813" but of course that didn't help. Any way how to play archives?
