Used to be great, you could directly download songs, but now, have to install some weird 3rd side program. Avoid it!

Does not download or even offer the possibility to convert something. Just redirects to another app to install.

Takes you to a separate webpage to convert and download the video as an MP3.

This addon is literally just a webpage redirection. In other words a glorified advertisement for their service.

This is exactly what our extension does, if you were careful, you could see in the installation page that it is displayed there that it redirects you to another site where the conversion is done.

"This extension uses an external online service to convert and download YouTube videos to MP3. For this purpose the video URL is transmitted to mp3 convert (mp3convert.org) to start the conversion process."

Button itself could be a bit more esthetic (big red DOWNLOAD button), but that's a detail; one click, choose a download server, quick and good quality.
