    • Per-chat settings ship turned off, temporarily. The feature stays whole and comes back with one click in Settings -> "Per-chat settings". Whatever was chosen in each chat is still stored, waiting. In the meantime, language, translation, sending and automatic transcription follow the general setting, as before.

    • Internal scans now have a time budget. Every routine that walks the message list is timed in a real browser, on a large account, before any release. None may hold the page's processing beyond the ceiling, so WhatsApp keeps responding while ZapVox works.

    Each chat note now has a colour — yellow, green or red — chosen from three dots on the note toolbar; the colour is kept per chat and applies to the pinned square too. Internal sweeps (deleted messages, audios, chats) now walk the message list in short pieces and hand processing back to the page in between, so the tab stays responsive on accounts with many messages loaded. The button that moves the note to the other side joined the toolbar next to the text-size controls.

    Automatic sending is more resilient: the check that guards against a cut-off message now looks at whether every character reached the message box, list markers in summaries are sent as bullet characters so the editor does not reformat them, and the message box is emptied through a path that also works while the tab sits in the background. When the box cannot take the text, delivery is retried through the internal dispatcher instead of stopping.

    Automatic sending confirms the chat first: before the transcript goes into the message box, ZapVox asks WhatsApp which chat that audio belongs to and compares it with the chat currently on screen. If it is the same chat, the text is typed there. If it is a different one, the text is delivered inside the chat the audio came from. Without that confirmation the extension stops and tells the user on screen, and the transcript stays in the ZapVox card with a Copy button.

    One automatic send per audio: transcribing the same audio again refreshes the ZapVox card so you can read it once more, without repeating the message in the chat; a discreet notice tells you the text for that audio has already gone out.

    Your own audio: the text goes out after the audio. Transcription of an audio you recorded starts only once WhatsApp confirms it was sent; until then an ⏳ hourglass shows, and the automatic sending of a transcription or translation always happens after the audio has reached the server.

    The note picks a side (⇄ button), transcription/summary/translation on separate lines, WhatsApp session watch with reconnect-then-notice, and a text-free local diagnostic log (connection states, timestamps, and the send stages of your own audio) that is sent to the ZapVox team under the same anonymous opt-in diagnostics when something gets stuck.

A text-free diagnostic log (connection states and timestamps only) is kept in browser storage and, when the notice appears, is sent to the ZapVox team under the same anonymous opt-in diagnostics.

    • Audio you just recorded: while WhatsApp finishes sending it, the transcribe button shows an hourglass and returns to normal on its own; the transcription comes on the next click.

    Bug fix release.
    • When WhatsApp Web loses its message session in a tab, you now get told. In that state the page still looks normal, but nothing you send reaches the other person and reloading may not respond. ZapVox recognises it, says so on screen and offers a button that unlocks and reloads the tab.
    • A scheduled message is no longer dispatched into a tab in that state: it waits for the next minute instead.
    • The "stuck message" notice no longer appears when a message is simply queued by WhatsApp.
    • Internal diagnostics now record the message-stream state, not only the socket state.

    - A scheduled image that never uploaded is removed from the chat (it never reached anyone) and sent again once; if it still does not upload, the schedule shows the reason and a resend button.
    - Schedules tell the truth about the image: when the media hangs, the reason is written in the list, and the image is never sent twice.

    The notes pin in the chat header now shows at a glance which conversations already have a note: muted when the chat has none, full colour with an amber dot when it does. Clicking in WhatsApp Web is more predictable in any setup. And there are fewer settings to decide — one optional cosmetic setting left the Settings screen, so the extension arrives ready the way it works best.
