I used to be a long time user of ABP, and only switched over to uBlock Origin around a year ago. uBlock Origin is indeed the most performance-friendy blocker, yet it also appears to be the most effective and customisable. Plenty of options for those who want to fine-tune, yet also perfectly fine to use without any config which makes it great for corporate deployment and power users.
