Hallo! 😊

I downloaded/re-installed Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express Version 21.3 today 16/11/2025 but it still produces the same message as the 2 previous versions - "Generating download link, pls wait..." and fails to generate any link to download a Youtube video.

It also doesn't create a download button as shown on the "How to use" tab.

No options to even specify what quality of video you want to download.
Tried it in a Firefox Private window as well, but still no improvement - just the same message to "pls wait...".

    Very disappointing.

Hi HoraceB! Stuck on "Generating download link, pls wait..." even after reinstalling — that was a persistent bug across versions. Version 24.1 addresses this from the ground up. Please update to 24.1 (not just reinstall the old version) and the download button should appear and work properly. Hope this finally sorts it for you! 🙏

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi Barbara! Sorry about the error messages — that was a Firefox compatibility bug. Version 24.1 is now out and fixes this. Update the extension and it should work on Firefox again without errors. If it does, we'd love an updated review! 😊

Seems to be broken, when it works it only downloads Arab? language audio which I don't speak. Only offers MP4s no MP3s or other formats. Deleting...

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi ShadoStar! Downloading Arabic audio when you didn't want it — that sounds like a language selection bug. Version 24.1 is now out and should fix the format and language selection. Please update before deleting — it should offer proper formats including MP3. If it works, we'd love a second chance and an updated review! 🙏

Worked previously, but does not anymore. As of Nov 11th, all youtube videos return a "failed to parse this page" error.

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi KS! "Failed to parse this page" error since Nov 11th — that was a YouTube page structure change that broke things. Version 24.1 is now out and handles the updated page format. Please update and it should work again. If it does, we'd love an updated review! 😊

    Barely usable, buggy like hell.

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hey! "Buggy like hell" is fair — it really wasn't working well. Version 24.1 is a significant fix that addresses the core issues. Update and give it a fresh try. If it's a different experience, we'd really appreciate an updated review! 🙏

Requires payment to download 1080p, which is a joke.

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi! The extension is completely free — 1080p downloads should not require payment. That was an old limitation that's been addressed. Version 24.1 is now out and you can download videos without any payment prompts. Give it a try! 😊

As I clicked on one video, it seemed fine, it worked as normal, just one button that let me download the video, amazing, but a slight glimmer caught my eye, a shining video in the sea of terrible ones, I clicked on it, naturally, but then I noticed something strange. There was another download button, I thought nothing of it, only a one time bug, probably, but no, as I clicked on more videos, more buttons popped up, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 once I got to 7, all hell broke loose, my cpu usage shot up to 100% I could hear my pc at the gates of hell fighting Satan himself, but it wasnt over, I opened more, determined to take this as far as possible. 8, 9, and finally 10, after this much, my computer gave in as satan called for backups, and it was surrounded by the cursed forced to forever roam the underworld. It had lost the battle, gave up, and closed firefox. May that innocent instance of Firefox roam Valhalla forever. RIP.

Hi Axolotl! The "gates of hell" CPU saga is quite the visual 😄 That multiple buttons + memory leak bug was real and we're sorry it put your PC through the wringer. Version 24.1 fixes this — just one button, no CPU chaos. Update and give it a try. If it's back to normal, we'd love an updated review! 🙏

No option for downloading MP3. False ad

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi! MP3 download is actually supported — it may not have been visible due to a display bug. Version 24.1 fixes the UI issues, so the MP3 option should now appear clearly in the download menu. Give it an update and try again! 😊

Lmao, locking mp3 and 1080p downloads behind a paywall. Fucking money hungry bitches.

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi! The extension is free — mp3 and 1080p should not be behind a paywall. This sounds like it may have been a display bug rather than an intentional restriction. Version 24.1 is now out and all formats should be freely accessible. Give it an update and try again! 😊

Propaganda enganosa. Não tem opção para download de video em .mp3.

False advertisement, there's no option for .mp3 download.

what no English this sucks . i want English not every thing else

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi! The extension interface should be in English by default. If you were seeing another language, it may have been a display issue. Version 24.1 is now out — please update and it should be in English. Hope it works better for you! 😊

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi John! That infinite "generating links..." loop was a real headache. Version 24.1 is now out and fixes this — it should generate the link and start downloading without getting stuck. Update and give it another try! 😊

Doesn't work yet it has the gall to spam you with ads asking you to pay the developer. Do not download this adware.

    Geliştiricinin yanıtı

    gönderilme: 7 ay önce
Hi! We hear you on the donation prompts — they were too aggressive and we've toned them down in version 24.1. The extension is free and not adware. It also actually works now — the download bug is fixed. Give it one more try with the updated version! 😊
