Privacy Policy — Fluent Page Translate

Data collection and storage

Fluent Page Translate stores the following data locally on your device using browser.storage.local:
- API key, provider selection, model name, base URL, max tokens, and target language

This data never leaves your device except to authenticate directly with your chosen LLM provider.

Translation requests

When you translate a page, the page's text content is sent directly from your browser to the LLM API provider you configured (Anthropic or OpenAI, or a custom endpoint). No translation data passes through our servers. We do not read, log, or store any page content.

Third-party services

• LLM provider — Page text is sent to your chosen API provider subject to their own privacy policy.
• RevMe (revme.io) — The extension displays sponsored content provided by RevMe. RevMe may collect standard ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) per their privacy policy at https://revme.io.

Permissions

• tabs — To identify the active tab for translation.
• storage — To save your settings locally.
• scripting — To extract text from and insert translations into the page.
• Host permissions (<all_urls>) — To inject the translate icon on every website.

No analytics, no tracking

We do not collect usage analytics, browsing history, personal information, or any other data beyond what is described above.
