BECAUSE THEY DONT GIVE YOU THE BEST ONES, and the websites can controll which codes you can see.

Stay away from Honey! This add-on is a massive scam on many levels. The consumers don't get the best deals as only coupons are displayed that Honey actively wants to show. Additionally, it scams people relying on affiliate links as the add-on always grabs the affiliate for itself, even if you don't apply a coupon code but just close the pop-up. If that isn't enough already, it also pressures vendors into working with Honey as it would otherwise cause them revenue loss.

It has been proven that Honey is doing malpractice towards content creators (stealing their affiliated links) and towards regular users (hiding fully functional discount codes, if the vendor does not want for that code to be used).
This extension should be removed or flagged as SCAM from Firefox.
