Same stupid gimmick as those websites that have a loading icon that says they are "fetching" or "preparing" your data or results. If you've ever coded any web scraping you know it doesn't take that damn long to interact with the web page.
You are better off getting coupons off actual coupon website.
The "Best Deal" box that shows up on Amazon is comical, and CamelCamelCamel does a job ten times better instead of vaguely listing some past price.
