JobFoundry — 1-click job capture for your private job-search pipeline.

Requires a self-hosted server. JobFoundry is the companion to the open-source JobFoundry server (AGPL-3.0, self-hosted with Docker). The extension captures postings in your browser and sends them to your server. There is no JobFoundry cloud — your data never touches third-party infrastructure, because there is none.
  • 1-click capture: title, company, description, salary, requirements, and apply link.
  • Native extractors for Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Naukri, plus a readability fallback that handles any other career page.
  • Firefox Sidebar (Ctrl+Shift+S): inspect and verify every field before it enters your pipeline. Also available as a toolbar popup.
  • Captures behind logins: runs inside your own browsing session, so listings behind a login wall just work — your cookies never leave your machine.
  • Multi-board search: run one query across 85+ built-in board providers (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Adzuna, ZipRecruiter, Naukri, HiringCafe, Google Jobs, and more). No API keys required.
  • Background rescans keep your pipeline fresh; captures queue offline and sync when your server is reachable.
  • Send anything to your server for AI fit scoring, resume tailoring, and application tracking in the JobFoundry dashboard.
  • Zero telemetry: no analytics, tracking, or third-party calls. The add-on declares no data collection.
  • Data goes only to the server URL you configure.
  1. Start your JobFoundry server (see docs) and open its dashboard.
  2. In the add-on options, press Auto-Connect — or paste your Server URL and API key manually.
  3. Open any job posting, press Ctrl+Shift+S, and hit Capture.
  • Access to all sites: job postings live on thousands of domains, including small company career pages — the extractor must run where you browse.
  • Tabs / scripting: read the posting in the active tab. Storage: your settings and offline queue. Alarms: scheduled background rescans.
