    This is a major update to LIT Prompting with expanded model support, improved browser integration, and numerous workflow and reliability improvements.
    • Added support for multiple LLM API formats, including OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions, OpenAI Responses, and Anthropic Messages endpoints.
    • Added per-template API endpoints with endpoint-specific API-key storage, while preserving compatibility with existing templates and settings.
    • Added structured JSON output using JSON Schema, along with model-aware reasoning, verbosity, temperature, and output-token controls.
    • Added persistent interaction state, saved transcripts, interaction logs with API credentials redacted, and a Run in New Tab option for longer interactions.
    • Improved code-output display with syntax highlighting, JSON formatting, copy, wrap, and expand controls.
    • Improved capture of selected text and active-page context, including iframe-based editors, extension pages, the Scratch Pad, and additional rich-editor fallbacks.
    • Added an optional JavaScript template output type for advanced user-authored workflows.
    • Improved Scratch Pad synchronization and conflict handling.
    • Improved standalone interaction HTML exports, including credential recovery when an exported interaction is opened without a valid API key.
    • Existing saved user templates are preserved during upgrade.

    • Because the internal month variable {{month}} returned a zero-index month (0-11), the {{month1}} variable was added to return the current month indexed at 1 (1-12). Note: the {{month2d}} variable now returns a padded version of the {{month1}} variable (e.g., 01) instead of the {{month}} variable.
    • The default OpenAI models were changed to avoid models that no longer work (e.g. gpt-3.5-turbo was replaced by gpt-4o-mini).
