Magnetar runs locally in your browser.

The extension does not collect analytics, telemetry, advertising identifiers, browsing profiles, or personal data.

Detected torrent hashes, magnet links, history entries, ignored sites, provider settings, and user preferences are stored locally in the browser extension storage area on your device.

When you choose to send a torrent or magnet link to a configured provider or local client, the relevant data is sent directly to that destination using the credentials and endpoints you configure.

Magnetar does not operate a remote backend service for routing, tracking, or storing user activity.

The extension may communicate directly with:

• configured debrid providers
• configured self-hosted services
• configured local torrent clients
• webpages where the extension is actively used

No user activity is sold, shared for advertising purposes, or uploaded to Magnetar-controlled servers.
