I have used this for the last 5?10yrs.? I forget how long I've been suing this neat little extension. I can always count on it to work! I am going to donate.

Works perfectly. The option to change auto-focus from the address bar to the webpage is an awesome feature too, makes it much easier to use the search bar in Glance as a new tab page!

Ich finde die Erweiterung Top, aber seit einiger Zeit fällt mir auf, dass der Fokus bei meiner Startseite startpage.com nicht mehr auf die Suchleiste gesetzt wird, obwohl die Option "Fokus auf Webseite statt in Adressleiste setzen" aktiviert ist. Geht das nur mir so, oder ist das ein Bug?

Simple and Amazing!

Broken. Setting "current home page" does not work if homepage is a local file. Even though hitting the home button works for local files. So it should be possible to navigate to any homepage on the event.

They support something they call "local file" option, but it is not a local file, instead it is a static copy of the file loaded somewhere into the extension storage. Therefore any changes to the local file are not reflected. E.g. it is not possible to sync/backup such file.

Also URL bar of the new tab is cluttered with homepage URL, so its very cumbersome to use it.

Perhaps it is not fault of the extension itself, and it is just result of infamous FF anti-features regarding extensions they push constantly. But anyway, it does not work as described. Uninstalling.

tl;dr - A+ addon, simple, light. And I don't have to deal with friggin' Firefox Start 😆

angry ramble - It was nice when Firefox had features and customization almost two decades ago. Now they slash features, save ALL OF THE telemetry data, then spam email/advertise to buy their VPN/Relay service. They're turning into their own enemy 🙄

Makes my life easier!~ Appreciate the developer explains the reasons of giving rights to the AddOn. That increases the transparency~
