Niekie: Casino Safety Score, Gambling Blocker geliştiren: Niekie

Niekie is a casino safety score and a gambling blocker in one add-on. Check how safe an online casino is before you deposit, then set your own limits or block gambling sites when you want to stop. No account needed to see a score. What the casino safety score is Land on one of the offshore casinos or crypto casinos we rate and a badge appears with that operator's safety score. Click it and you get the reasoning, not just a number: a one sentence verdict, every check behind the score, the licence on record, and what independent review sites report. The score is built from five pillars.
Payout reliability. Moderated reports from players who actually withdrew money. Not marketing claims, and not the operator's own figures.
Reputation and complaints. Volume and recency of player complaints, and any action taken by a regulator.
Domain intelligence. Domain age, hosting, certificate validity and site health.
Sanctions and jurisdiction. Screening against the OFAC, EU and UN consolidated lists, and where the operator actually runs from.
Licence and transparency. A casino licence check: whether a licence number is published at all, and whether it validates against the regulator's own register. A Curacao or Anjouan licence is cheap and close to a rubber stamp, so we treat it as a transparency signal rather than proof of player protection.
The part that makes this different Most casino ratings are out of 100 no matter how much anyone actually knows. Ours are scored out of what could be measured. Payout reliability is the heaviest pillar and the hardest to evidence. Where we have no withdrawal reports for an operator, those points are not awarded, and not quietly redistributed to the pillars we could check either. The score reads 58 of 70, and the report says why. An operator can do well on everything checkable and still not reach the top grade, because we will not call a casino safe on evidence we do not have. That is the whole idea. The score no casino can buy, including from us. There is no paid placement, no sponsored ranking, and no commercial arrangement anywhere that is an input to any score. Block gambling sites Used as a gambling blocker, the add-on blocks around 4,900 gambling domains in your browser. That list is deliberately much wider than the casinos we rate. Blocking only our own index would push somebody trying to stop toward the operators we know least about, which makes things worse rather than better. Tightening is instant and loosening is slow. Making a block longer takes effect immediately. Ending one early starts a 24 hour wait during which the block stays on, so the decision outlives the moment that prompted it. You can cancel that request at any point in those 24 hours. Being straight with you about what this is: an add-on can be uninstalled, and uninstalling this one lifts the block. It is a wall, not a lock. If you need something an operator is legally obliged to honour, use GamStop in the UK or your state's self exclusion programme in the US. Those are enforced by the operators themselves and cannot be undone by removing an add-on. This sits alongside them, not instead of them. Set your own limits The responsible gambling tools are a session timer, a daily cap, and a monthly deposit budget. The clock counts only while a casino tab is actually in front of you. A tab left open overnight is not eight hours of gambling, and counting it as such would make the number useless. The deposit figure is whatever you enter. The add-on cannot see your balance, your payments or your account, and does not pretend otherwise. Reading the cashier page of every operator would break silently the moment any of them changed their layout, and a tracker that quietly stops counting tells you that you are under your limit when you are not. Your statistics live on niekie.app: minutes played by day, how long your longest session ran, where the time went by operator, and your block history. What it does not do
It does not read page content, form fields, balances, bet history or keystrokes.
On any site outside our directory the content script is not injected at all, so the add-on is structurally incapable of seeing pages it has no business seeing.
It contains no analytics, no advertising and no remote code. Every line of JavaScript ships inside the package.
It never earns a commission. No page in this add-on can route you through an affiliate link, whatever is stored against an operator, and that is a property of the code rather than a promise.
Play controls are opt in. Until you set a limit or start a block, nothing about your time or your money is recorded anywhere.
Who this is for Players using offshore casinos and crypto casinos, where there is no state regulator to complain to and a licence often means less than it appears to. If you are choosing between operators, the score tells you what is actually known about each one, and what is not. If you are trying to cut down or stop, the responsible gambling tools and the site blocker are already here, without installing a separate gambling blocker alongside. How to use it
Install the add-on. Nothing appears until you visit a casino we rate.
Open a casino. The badge shows its score, out of what we could measure.
Click the badge to read the checks behind the score and the licence on record.
Open the toolbar popup for the same score, plus the Niekie tools with that operator already filled in.
Sign in with an email code if you want play controls. They are tied to your account, so reinstalling does not quietly clear a block you set.
Set a session limit, a daily limit or a deposit budget under Limits.
Start a block when you want one, and choose how long it runs.
Common questions Is it free? Yes. There is no paid tier, and no account is needed to see a score. An account is needed for play controls, because tying them to it is what makes them survive a reinstall. Does it work on every casino? No, and that is on purpose. It recognises the operators in our public directory. Everywhere else it stays silent rather than inventing a score for a site we have not examined. Why is a score out of 70 rather than 100? Because thirty of the hundred points ride on payout evidence, and for that operator we have none. Awarding points we could not check would be inventing them. Can the block be got around? Yes, by uninstalling the add-on. We would rather say so plainly than have you discover it at the worst possible moment. For an enforceable version, use GamStop or your state's self exclusion scheme. Does it see how much I deposit? Only if you tell it. There is no access to your balance or your payments, and none is requested. Where do the scores come from? The same public API the website uses, so the add-on can never show a figure the site does not. Every score is written to a public, hash verifiable audit ledger, so anyone can check the arithmetic. Do you check bonus terms? Yes. The scanner reads each operator's published terms and records wagering requirements, maximum cashout caps, minimum withdrawals and excluded games, so an advertised offer can be set against the contract behind it. Gambling support If gambling has stopped feeling like a choice, an add-on is not the answer. In the US, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is 1-800-522-4700, free and confidential, 24 hours a day. In the UK, GamCare is 0808 8020 133. Both are independent of us and of any operator. Niekie is not a gambling operator. It does not take bets, does not accept deposits and has no financial relationship with any casino it rates. Full method at niekie.app/how-we-score.
