Privacy Policy for Universal Novel to eBook Converter

Universal Novel to eBook Converter is built with a strict privacy-first architecture.

1. Data Collection:
This extension does NOT collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data, browsing history, novel content, or analytics.
2. Local Execution:
All web scraping, content parsing, eBook compiling (EPUB and PDF), and file downloads happen 100% locally on your computer inside your browser. No external cloud servers or remote databases are used.
3. Local Storage:
The extension uses your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) strictly to save:
4. Your recent novels history (stored solely on your machine so you can resume reading).
5. Your optional Kindle email address (stored solely on your machine so you don't have to retype it).
6. Third-Party Services:
When you click optional external links (such as Amazon Send to Kindle, send.djazz.se, Google Drive, or Dropbox), you interact directly with those third-party services under their respective terms and privacy policies. The extension transmits no credentials or data to them.
