It's essentially the same as Dashlane, except I do think the Proton need to mimic Dashlane's log in via the master-password only, and if I was to die, the ability for someone I nominate to request access to my Proton Pass by sending an email to my email address, which if left unopened for 1 months grants that nominated person access to all my passwords.
