The engine studies how labels cluster into a clean consensus, a split, or a real dispute, weighs how long people actually spent with a post before judging it, and compares all of that against the attention the post is already getting. Ten thousand upvotes behind a wall of Ad and Promo is a very different post from a hundred upvotes behind a wall of Helpful. Slaze says so.
