    great add on and sad i didnt find this one sooner. am not too bugged to pay for it, since its helped me get rid of those daily frustration with endless popups. works amazingly both on desktop and phone app. thanks!

    They added a nag popup to the extension that is supposed to reduce the amount of pop-ups you see. It's cool if you want to charge for your software, but randomly adding intrusive pop-ups (which fully take you away from your tab on mobile btw) is not great

    I’ve been using this extension for a while, and it’s absolutely fantastic. It’s reliable, works as it says on the tin, and has saved me a lot of time and hassle. It's a smooth experience and the developer has always been prompt in adding more and more sites.

    Good software takes time, effort, and ongoing costs to keep it running, and this extension is well worth supporting. For the value it delivers, the cost is more than fair.

    Update from 09.08.2026 (update is further down):

    As for the engine: The cookie protection differs from other addons which proofs you indeed use your own algorithm and don't just copy script from others. With outstanding results [so theoretically 5 stars worth]! This addon had worked pretty well in the past, it is still one of the few not being scam and with real hard working devs behind it, but not longer free [-0 stars]

    But on the one hand it causes many websites loading extremely slow [-1 star]. It completely lacks of changelogs when the addon turned into shareware (I found out last free version is v.3.28 from August 2025) so the auto-update in Firefox forces everybody into it by default, which you are well aware of as you wrote in your last answer [-1 star]. Plus, you rejected my wish to follow FF store guidelines with the purple $-flag which is mandatory as soon some features could require payment [-1 star]. At least you offer a lifetime license (at high cost).

    [-1 star] again for such an questionable answer from you last year. We users should be grateful for theoretically being able to downgrade which you allowed us?! No sorry, it's nothing you have to decide, its up to Firefox Addon Store and in general the IT rule if you change your plan into a paid one, former versions keep unaffected of it.

    Last thing: I actually DID leave a positive review back then, when your addon was free, matched the Firefox guidelines and did not cause so many websites to freeze using it. But after your changes I adapted my post as well and unfortunately it became worse and worse for said reasons.

    Thanks for the review! You can downgrade the version at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/super-agent/versions/

    I don't think your suggestion is very reasonable because most of the work we do is on the Back end, so the unmaintained version would (and will) work for a long long time without any real issues, as it will now if you choose to downgrade.

    I think it is nice on our end to let the users downgrade, but actively informing and teaching users how not to pay would be counter productive. There is a need for revenue to be able to keep adding more websites. If you don't want to pay that's fine, but you need to be the one learning how to downgrading and doing some work for it.

    Again, regarding changelogs, 99% of our updates are related to adding more websites and providers. We are a one feature extension, there aren't really any new features being added. We just focus on supporting more sites, more speed, and adding new cookie providers. Our changelogs are either bugfixes, or changing our code so we become faster, or adding a new way of clicking buttons to work on a new provider.

    Also, the addon works for 40 sites a week, hence us not requiring a purple commercial $ category. The addon works for free, it works better and on more sites if you pay for it.

    Lastly: Cookie banner blocker doesn't work the same way. We actively enforce consent (either reject or accept based on categories) by clicking the checkboxes and buttons. Most other products simply block the banner or hide it, often causing problems or crashing websites.

    Thanks again for the review, just a pity we couldn't get one from you when we were outstanding and free!

    I don't visit a ton of websites often, so I forget I even have this until I do visit one, get the pop-up for cookies, and watch it disappear before I lazily click "accept cookies". It works, it's great.

    I really like this extension. People are such weenies for always wanting something for free. I wonder what how they would feel if their time an energy was taken for granted so flippantly. The funny thing is, there have been several times that I thought about how much I liked this and wanted to go for the paid version, but I couldn't figure out how to get a lifetime subscription. So if the dev would like to drop a hint, I'd love to pick one up!

    Used to be free and perfect, but now the developer just chases money with a crappy subscription model, making this plugin completely useless now. Sad to see.

    The fact that there is a forever licence is a good option, but not for 30 bucks. Maybe if that was 2.99 I'd consider it.

    Hi,

    It is a bit sad we never deserved a review from you when we were free and perfect.

    The extensions requires a lot of upkeep as we received dozens of reports a day and websites constantly change their code.

    I have devoted countless hours for free on this extension. I don't think paying a developer (not me) a salary is chasing money, but perhaps we have different views on whether people should work for free or not.

    Whew, I expected to find a backlash here.

    It’s never easy for users to accept when a product moves to a paid business model after being free for a long time. We’ve seen this before with the Reddit API, Twitter API, or YouTube introducing Premium. In the end, developers are free to take that step, and I think it’s unfair to leave negative reviews just because of that change alone (especially from those who never gave a positive one when everything worked alright which - to be fair - includes me as well).

    That said, I would have appreciated clearer communication beforehand, and maybe a discount for existing users as a small thank-you for their loyalty. Still, this is ultimately the developers’ decision to make.

    Personally, I’m not a fan of subscriptions. Right now, I’m still weighing whether to go for the lifetime option or to look for an alternative. But I genuinely value that a one-time lifetime payment is an option at all, it’s something you rarely even get to choose these days.

    The extension itself has always worked flawlessly for me, both on PC and on Firefox for Android. Sites that weren’t supported were usually added quickly after reporting, which shows real commitment from the team. And considering work that goes into developing and maintaining it, the pricing feels fair to me.

    No matter if I will decide to pay or not, I hope the developers manage to rebuild trust with their userbase and appreciate their work. At the end of the day - when we're ignoring the fact it has been free before - this is a solid extension at a fair pricing model, despite the shift to a paid model having tarnished our feelings towards it.

    Hi. Thank you very much for your honest review. Yes, perhaps I could have done clearer communication beforehand. We live and learn. I have also released an update with an increase to 40 pop ups a week for the free version.

    Lastly, your comment regarding the reviews is what impacts us the most. No one bothered to leave a positive review when the extension was free and great. Most reviews we had were from friends and family. And now we are receiving a swarm of hate that is completely unrelated to the product's quality.

    As with everyone else who has ever reviewed or gotten in touch, I'm happy to offer you a free year license.

    I'm glad that the developer has listened to the users feedback and increased the limit. Now the extension is at least usable, and perhaps even useful. Only time will tell.

    I don't understand people being upset just because a developer wants to earn some money off his work, what's wrong with that? That being said, I still despise subscriptions in general, and $30 is way too much for what it does in my humble opinion.

    PS: remember that not everyone lives in a "first world" country, so the value proposition changes depending on where you're from.

    Hi. Thanks for your review. We will be changing the limits to 40 sites a week. Please notice that not all websites people visit a day will show banners. Mostly only new websites.

    Edit2: Good extension, I appreciate the dev's communication and hard work. I saw the news about the generous 40 free clicks when I booted up a browser with the extension still installed. I didn't expect to editing my review again, but I thought some more about this extension recently and I think the pricing model is pretty fair. As long as the lifetime license price option never gets taken away from users.

    Edit: You are free not to want to pay, it is understandable. I just don't see how that justifies giving low reviews to every extension that is not free. Does that mean I should pay developers out of pocket? That people should work for free?

    Suddenly started charging a ridiculous rate for what was free. It is one thing to charge for your work - it is another thing entirely to suddenly switch to a paid model with zero transparency. The website for this extension doesn't mention anywhere that it is NOT FREE, nor does the extension page on the store. I will no longer be using this as a result

    Update: the developer waited almost 2 weeks since my review, updated both this extension's store page and their website, and they've now posted a response claiming I was wrong. But neither place mentioned pricing (or "not free") when I originally posted. The pricing on the website is buried in the FAQs page, so technically it is there (as of now). Claiming that you informed customers of the business model change by putting in a pop-up that asks for money is not most people's idea of being transparent (compare that to a pop-up that warns me for several months in advance that you'll start charging)

    Hi,

    How is 1$ a month a ridiculous rate? And how is it not transparent? We literally informed all users via a pop up notification. The website mentions the price, so does the extension page. You can still downgrade to a previous version to avoid paying. I don't see how could this be more transparent.

    How would you suggest we charge for our work then?
