Since the latest updates, my rating has dropped from 5 stars to 2.
You are now shown so many videos and variations—presumably pulled from the cache—that you have to painstakingly sift through them based solely on their duration to figure out which one you actually want to download, as they all share the exact same filename.
In previous versions—and for years prior—you could simply select fast the video directly from the currently active tab.

This used to work well for me but not any more. Everything is marked "Download failed".

This is an excellent extension. It just WORKS. No fuss and no muss, just does what you want it to. it's easily the best downloader extension I've ever used (and I've used many).

Excellent extension, you can dl most movies

Very good on most sites. Sometimes only sound gets downloaded but it seems more related to the site then VDH itself.

pretty good for most website, its very annoying on youtube though, as it flags every video you watched including shorts, this just need a filter to block activity on certain website and its perfect

Besides my password manager, this is probably my most-used add-on in Firefox. I've used it successfully for a few bigger projects but the daily use is the key for me. Easy and quick way to download social videos. Not complicated. Effectively one-click for most things. Recommended!
