A genius way of getting rid of cookies without blocking them outright, which would break most websites.

Good as Self-Destructing Cookies, plus that Cookie AutoDelete comes with a useful import/export tool.

This add-on is good at deleting ordinary cookies, but, unlike Self-Destructing Cookies, it doesn't offer the option of hiding the window and turning off the noise when cookies are being deleted. It's especially irksome when I'm listening to music while browsing. I would very much appreciate it if you could add this option.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm referring to the noise that comes with the notifications. I downloaded the add-on yesterday, and the preferences page showed the "welcome" text, but not the settings. Now it does. I haven't checked "Show Notification After Cookie CleanUp," but that hasn't had any effect. I've clicked "SAVE," but there's no indication that anything has been saved.
One last thing: After each setting there's a question mark, but when I click on a question mark nothing happens. I had hoped that clicking would show a short explanation of what the setting does. It would be helpful if it did.

I deleted Firefox and re-added it without the old files, and now I have access to the settings. Everything seems to work as it should. Thanks for your help.

Very good replacement for Self-Destructing Cookies. Working great so far. I just don't like the toolbar icon, it looks bad, poor resolution perhaps. But it's just a little annoyance. In terms of functionality it does the job very well.

So far does exactly what described. There are a few UX issues to iron out but otherwise this is great.

Of course, Firefox should include this functionality in the browser. Websites should have to ask permission or be whitelisted before setting cookies that never expire.

The new "Self Destructing Cookies" - works like a charm!
Only thing i'd like would be cloudsaves and to automatically have the domain whitelisted instead of the subdomain when using the toolbar-button. (so not "addons.mozilla.org" but "*.mozzilla.org" instead)

A really great replacement for Self Destructing Cookies and has appeared just in time as 95% of my addons are now classed as Legacy. Could do with a smaller icon though as the numbers are partially obstructed but hey - it works so thank you.

I've had some issues with it at first, but you should read the "About this addon" section to get the gist of it. Although it doesn't really clean the cookies immediately after the tab is closed (even if set to 0), it cleans them after a couple of seconds so it's OK. Really great addon. Keep it up!

I am really annoyed about these new WebExtensions because most of my Addons will not longer work with Firefox 57+. So I am glad to find this alternative. There is only one missing option which I would really be happy with: Disabling notifications. Every time I close tabs there are these popups which tell me which Cookie was automatically deleted. I don't need them. Please add a switch to turn them off. Then you will get 5 stars. :-)

Simple to setup, and only clears your Cookies after you've set it up, so you don't have to re-login to a lot of websites you never want to be logged out of.
The menu is also quick and simple to use on the fly for white/grey/blacklisting sites.

Works great. Switched over from Self destructing cookies since it will be obsolete soon.

Can you add a Blacklist? That means only sites in Blacklist get their cookies deleted. I already use uMatrix to control cookies, but cookies must be enabled on some sites for them to work correctly.

What a relief. I was afraid there wouldn't be a replacement for SDC, but now I found it with C-AD. It works well so far. Hopefully support for FF for Android will be added soon.

Excellent extension, easy to set up, do the job perfectly. It also works with firefox containers experimental feature!

Looking for a replacement for Self-Destructing Cookies, and I'm hopeful I've found it :).

I have a circular icon with a red box with a white X - Clicking on it does nothing - Sadly I see no option to access the settings - Clicking options on the extension page shows me updates. Hovering cursor over Cookie Autodelete icon does nothing (unlike other extensions) - I will definitely update this review if I can use the extension!

I would like to keep my bank's main cookies, but not the ads and trackers from that bank's website. Ie cookie-granularity whitelist/protect.

But, all in all, nice solution that does 90% of what I want.

UPDATE: Thanks for the quick response. I think I meant 3rd party Ad cookies from my bank websites, but honestly I am not sure. Regardless, after using this addon for 1 day, ALL my Ad tracking cookies are gone. I have only 17 domains of cookies right now--only open tabs and whitelisted sites. No Ad cookies. Maybe trackers from my bank from their own domain remain, I dont know.

But, still, does >=99% of what I want.

This is a very great WebExtension cookie manager for desktop, but please add support for Android! At the moment you can install this addon on mobile devices but you cannot access it's settings, you can't event turn on active mode!

Great idea, my only suggestion so far it's the icon, I find distracting and intrusive the red colour that you chose as a notification. Ideally I'd like a color what matches with the adblock origin icon, I'd like to have them working together as a team!
