I tried many downloaders for Instagram, most are also for YouTube, none of them worked for me (one of them downloaded videos that were unreadable).

This extension worked right away, it adds a download button (a downward arrow) next to the regular Instagram buttons. (don't forget to reload your IG page if you just installed the extension).

after some time being installed, instagram becomes very slow at loading photos and it takes ages the more you use the addon for the download window to appear, please fix

It does the job very well and then some. A+++

First I took off one star for a mild annoyance (no vid cover images) but now the entire extension is just randomly failing to function on various posts across the board rendering it pointless to even keep it... also I'd neglected to get around to complaining that vid dl size depends on what one is using the extension on (mobile gets lower res than pc).

Шикарное дополнение. Помимо своих основных функций скачивания ещё и добавляет удобный интерфейс плеера к каждому видео. И в отличии от остальных популярных дополнений, оно работает.

I love this extension, the best one I've tried, but the reason I only give it 4 stars is for the simple fact that if someone knowledgeable enough could clarify a topic well and that is if it is safe and only does its function and does not send personal data to another place.
