This add-on is rubbish, it doesn't block f**k all. If you want to use an adblocker that works stick with AdBlock Plus or Ublock Origin.

The way AdBlock for Firefox allows adverts to seep through it makes you wonder if the are working with certain advertisers to give them access, either way the are not being very transparent and if they have mentioned it, its been done so under the small print which is sneaky either way.

five stars is too little. i'm using it only a week, but it's AWESOME. It even blocks pop-up ads from videos- before i had to stch off completely adblock plus on a site, because it got detected and forbidden and bla-bla-bla. Long story short: this adblocker is not dettected by the website, so i keep it on and it does it's job. PERFECT. LOL(lots of love in this case <3 )

Заходил сегодня на твич, появилась реклама, на ютубе вроде проблем не было. Решил пока удалить, перешел на другой блокировщик. Думайте сами.

It works on several sites (I've been using it for many days) and it's great that I can block specific parts of pages without having to use another add-on (such as "Element hiding helper"). But, for some reason, even though I'm subscribed to several lists it doesn't block a SINGLE THING on http://brittanica.com/ (This is probably true for other sites as well.)

Even if I create special rules to block the ads, I re-load the page once or twice and new ads are displayed.

This is very annoying, this not "non-instrusive" advertising (and I have that setting unchecked, by the way) we're talking about ads with moving images and lots of blinking non-sense, right next to the article.

Adblock Plus allowed me to use the Encyclopedia Britannica site without any disturbances.

sinchronize your firefox profile after delete profile folder and sinchronize again! add adblock again.

uninstalling resolved the issue. For ad-free browsing there is opera.
