Version 4.0.0: The "Studio" Update

This is our biggest update ever. We have completely rebuilt the engine from the ground up to bring you professional-grade archival tools, autonomous background downloading, and automated file organization—all while making the extension lighter and faster than before.

🚀 Massive New Features

The Download Studio (New Popup UI): Click the extension icon to open the new search interface. Instantly search for any profile and batch-download entire categories (Posts, Reels, Stories, Highlights, and Tagged) without ever scrolling their page.

Smart Folder Taxonomy: Say goodbye to messy download folders. The extension now automatically routes your media into structured directories (e.g., Downloads/Instagram/NatGeo (@natgeo)/Reels/). You can also set a custom master directory in the Settings Dashboard.

One-Click .ZIP Packaging: Downloading 500 posts ? Enable "Export as .ZIP" in your Dashboard to package massive queues into a single organized archive, completely eliminating browser permission spam.

"Sync New" & Deduplication Ledger: The Add-on now remembers what you have downloaded. Click the new "⚡ Sync New" button on any profile, and the crawler will only fetch new posts, stopping automatically once it hits your existing history.

🛠 Under-the-Hood Upgrades

Unthrottled Background Engine: You can now start a massive batch download, minimize Firefox, and walk away. Our new Web Worker bridge prevents the browser from putting the tab to sleep, guaranteeing your downloads finish reliably.

Zero-Transcode Video Ripping: We dropped bloated conversion libraries. The extension now parses Meta's internal DASH manifests to extract pure, uncompressed audio and video streams natively.

CDN Expiration Rescue: Fixed the dreaded "403 Forbidden" and "5xx Server" errors on large batches by automatically verifying URL expiration timestamps before fetching.

AMO Security Compliance: Upgraded to Manifest V3, completely eliminated innerHTML usage, and optimized memory management to aggressively prevent RAM bloat.
