Chameleon Fingerprint Shield protects you against browser fingerprinting by masking and rotating the signals websites use to identify and track you.

Instead of exposing your real browser fingerprint, the extension generates a coherent, randomized identity for each session (or for each site) and applies it consistently across the vectors that fingerprinting scripts rely on:

Canvas — per-session pixel noise so canvas hashes rotate.
WebGL — vendor/renderer masking plus rendered-pixel perturbation, so the WebGL hash changes each session.
AudioContext — perturbation of the rendered audio buffer used for audio fingerprints.
Fonts — obfuscation of font-metric measurements used for font enumeration.
User-Agent, Navigator, Hardware, Screen, Language, Timezone, WebRTC — session-coherent spoofed values that stay internally consistent (Firefox/Gecko profiles for Windows, macOS and Linux).

Each masked vector can be toggled individually from the popup, and you can choose how the identity rotates: on every browser restart, on a timer, fixed (no rotation), or a new identity for each site.

Rotation modes

On every browser restart — one identity per browser session.
Timed — rotate automatically on a countdown.
Fixed — keep one identity, no rotation.
New for each site — a fresh identity for every site you open.

Important — Cloudflare / bot checks
Some sites protected by Cloudflare (and similar challenge systems) can get stuck in an endless verification loop when the User-Agent is spoofed. If a Cloudflare "Verifying you are human" check never completes, open the popup and disable the "User-Agent" checkbox under Masked vectors. With User-Agent masking off, the challenge will pass normally, while all the other protections (Canvas, WebGL, Audio, Fonts, etc.) remain active.

Privacy
The extension does not collect, transmit or store any personal data. Everything runs locally in your browser.
