ChatGPT UTM Link Cleaner автор NAPA

Remove the utm_source=chatgpt.com attribution parameter from links shown by ChatGPT—before the link is opened or copied.

Focused by design

• Removes only the exact utm_source=chatgpt.com query parameter.
• Preserves every other query parameter, URL fragment, destination, and normal encoding.
• Cleans links before Firefox shows the hover target or starts navigation, avoiding a visible redirect or double load.
• Covers normal clicks, middle-click, Ctrl-click, Firefox Copy Link, dynamically generated responses, and common ChatGPT copy controls.
• Leaves unrelated URLs and other utm_source values unchanged.

Private and lightweight

• Runs only on https://chatgpt.com/.
• Requests no WebExtension API permissions.
• Has no background process, analytics, telemetry, accounts, remote code, or external requests.
• Does not read the system clipboard, browsing history, bookmarks, cookies, or destination pages.
• Stores and transmits no data.

Works on Firefox desktop and Firefox for Android where the required WebExtension support is available.
