as someone mentioned, we just have to download video and audio streams separately if we need over 360p. Merging isn't a big task. So I have no complaints there. It works

Download MKV Toolnix (I think it's free) and use that to merge the audio and video (download those separately to get better quality). Yeah, its a pain but once you get used to it, it's nothing.

tried it and it works if you know how to do it correctly. Check their FAQs. There's still a way to download high quality media via different streams.

people dont understand that its very easy to download video/audio streams separately and then merge it.

tools/sites who are providing HD downloads are actually doing merging in the background, and people have no problem clicking on virus ads.

If you find this difficult, go and buy YouTube premium and dont choose to be a beggar coming to this free platform.

This tool gives you the actual separate video and audio streams in a way it’s served by YouTube and similar platforms. Want higher quality? Just merge them locally using CapCut or any editor. That’s what most other apps are secretly doing behind the scenes anyway. At least here, it’s transparent and gives you full control.

This tool is solid and does things the correct way. Higher resolutions (like 1080p, 2K, 4K) are DASH streams, that means video and audio come separately.. It’s not a flaw, it’s literally how professional downloaders work (like yt-dlp). Anyone saying “low quality” might be judging based on partial files or not understanding streaming formats. Keep it up, dev!

People don’t realize that most platforms (especially YouTube) serve audio and video in separate streams for high resolutions. This app actually does it right. It downloads both and merges them locally. That’s not “low quality,” it’s just how modern streaming works. Tools that pretend to do otherwise are either using AI upscaling or the exact same merging technique behind the scenes. Great job by the dev for doing it transparently! And most importantly, this is good fit as an "all in one" downloader.

It work reliably on a basic level. But it only downloads the video in very low quality. I know that yt is very restrictive but I also know there is workarounds. For example Skytube on Android let's you just 1 click download everything you want in up to 2k (afaik). Also 1 star, because i feel like i need to counterbalance the OBVIOUS fake 5-star reviews! Wtf.
