ADDED ON FEB. 25, 2026: i updated as advised to version 24.1. now when i try to download a high-quality video, i am told, "You’ve reached your free high‑quality trial" and that i should upgrade to PRO. um, isn't that what i provided financial support for, so i could download high-quality videos? yes … yes, it was. so until this is fixed, the one-star rating will remain.

It was a YouTube-side issue that affected everyone, not just supporters. Version 24.1 is now out and fixes the 0 byte downloads.
