Hi Nick, that's a frustrating combo — fake progress, 0 byte files, and downloading twice! All of this is fixed in version 24.1. Please update the extension and it should download properly without those issues. If it works, we'd love it if you could update your review! Used to work, but not any more. Quicktime Player has no idea how to open these zero byte files...so...
Hi Anne, sorry about that! The zero byte files were a bug that's now fixed in version 24.1. After updating, your downloads should be proper video files that open without any issues in Quicktime Player. Give it a try and if it works, we'd love an updated review! I love the way it installs three 0 byte, entirely unusable files to my computer when I press the button once

Ha, three 0 byte files from one click — that's impressively broken, we'll give you that! 😄 We've sorted it out in version 24.1 though. Update and it should download just the one proper file this time. If it works, we'd really appreciate an updated review! Used to work, as of Jan 23rd, claims to work but "successfully" downloads zero byte files.
Currently useless.
Hi! We know it claimed to work but secretly saved nothing — that fake success was a nasty bug. It's now properly fixed in version 24.1. Please update and it should actually download your files this time. If it works, we'd love it if you could update your review!

Downloads 0 bytes. Now 1 star because 0 stars not an option. Please fix.

Hi! We know — duplicate downloads AND 0 kb files was a double headache. Both issues are fixed in version 24.1. Please update the extension and it should download cleanly without any duplicates. If it works, we'd really appreciate an updated review!
Hey! We've just released version 24.1 which gets it working again. Please update the extension and give it another shot. If it works, an updated review would mean a lot! Over a month ago I installed it and it worked just fine. Then about a week or so ago everytime I log on to my computer it has me reinstalling it. Now when I go and try and download a mp4 at youtube it say's its downloading superfast and after its threw there is 0bits. So it doen not work. I'll try and reinstall it one last time before I remove it.

Hi! Thanks for sticking with it — we know constant reinstalls and 0 bit files is incredibly frustrating. Great news though, version 24.1 is out and addresses these issues. No need for that last reinstall trick — just update to 24.1 and it should work properly. Hope it does the job!

Hey! "Whatever download you choose" downloading as 0 bytes is definitely rubbish — we agree! Version 24.1 is out now and fixes this. Update the extension and it should actually download your chosen video properly. If it works, we'd love an updated review! These are scammers! Never send them any money! I gave them money for a lifetime license and was cheated! They defraud customers and are completely untrustworthy!
Hi! We're sorry to hear about your experience. We don't sell lifetime licenses — if you were charged by someone, it wasn't through our official channels. The extension is free on Firefox Add-ons. Please contact Mozilla support if you were misled. We'd be happy to help clarify anything! I paid $20 for this extension, "The #1 rated Youtube Video Downloader", and it recently (A few days ago) stopped working. I'm downloading empty files...0 bytes video files.
