no longer provides direct 1080p/mp3 streams. Want money to upgrade

Doesn't work. Downloaded videos are 0 Byte files. For HQ you have to pay.

Requires you to pay to be able to download 1080p.

This used to be my favourite add-on to download from YouTube. Now, it doesn't allow downloading separate video and audio streams, requiring payment... Really? If I would ever pay to download from YouTube, guess what, I would pay to YouTube for downloading, not to third party. Edit: as of Feb/2023, it's still a click bait.

I just discovered that another add-on has options to enable showing the high resolution file links, making this add-on fully useless.

If you're going to charge for certain resolutions, make that clear up front, and don't make users go digging to figure it out. Also, don't make it seem like users can donate whatever amount they want. You have specific amounts, so it's multiple choice, not any amount you wish.

It has ads, it's not offline and It sends the videos you watch to videodroid.org, and apparently they charge for 1080 but the claim they're the only add-on to support 1080p is blatantly false!

They use some obfuscated code which is allowed by Mozilla but it is against the provisions of the MPL license:
" “Source Code Form” means the form of the work preferred for making modifications." If your preferred style of coding is writing unmanageable and unreadable code then fine but If you don't want "Script kiddies" copying your code and modifying your advertisements then also change the license to something more restrictive!

Using obfuscated code is sketchy as hell anyways and usually a tactic by malware authors but I'm sure that's not a problem for you! While Mozilla reviews the "human readable code", let's not forget that Stylish a highly popular add-on was stealing users browsing history for months before Mozilla finally did anything!

Yikes this one doesn't work on age restricted youtube vids....

Won't allow you to use 1080p feature without purchase. There are other extensions that will record 1080 without false advertising, bait-and-switch, extortion tactics.

Incorrect description. The program no longer downloads 1080 quality videos, they charge you for this with the pro version.

This add-on asks for a paid subscription to work only after you install it. It doesn't even appear on your bar unless you pay.

It's not working please fix it ASAP.

Does not work for 1080 resolutions straight off the bat. Wants you to buy upgrade in order to. False advertising, as the extension's page claims to work on 1080.

Avoid, there are much better free ways to do this. Torch Browser has this function built in.

Doesn't give you the option to try downloading as mp3, but just asks for money straight away. That's fraud in my book.
