The YouTube updates may temporarily be a problem, quickly fixed.

I like that I can choose lower resolution or higher resolution in the dropdown download tab.

Firefox had a download indicator in the toolbar, that is helpful to know the download has finished.

It has a dropdown menu to go directly to the downloaded file if you like.

I have been using this addon for a long time now and it is brilliant. A few days ago I had a problem where it would not download MP3's. I reported it, and in very quick time the problem was solved and I was notified. If only some of the huge companies, that have tons of money, could give customer service as good as the owner gives for this. I have donated and will be donating again. If everyone who used it just donated a few dollars then the owner would be more inspired to really develop this. Must be depressing for him to have so many users but so few that contribute even a small amount. Well done for this addon. I have paid for the pro edition, which is really cheap, this enables more download options. For those reviews I have read where people complain about having to pay ... heck get a life! This guy is developing this with his own money ..... any donations help him keep this going. So it is not much to ask that to get extra download options people pay. You can choose how much you pay (don't be insulting by pay a negligible amount). I constantly use this download. Have paid for the pro and well worth it. For those that say it doesn't work for them. Instead of doing a bad review, contact the owner and explain the problem, he will do all he can to make it work for you.

So easy to use and quite amazing. As a teacher, finding free but legal resources for class is wonderful, and this program is fantastic.

This is the best extension I have used for downloading YouTube videos. I use it frequently and I love it. I am very grateful for this downloader. It's updated regularly too, and any errors that occur are fixed immediately. In my opinion it's the best one out there, and I have tried many.

This is the best downloader I've used by far. I use it to download mp3 files of the audio. Easy Youtube Video Downloader is fast and convenient. When I've had problems I've reported them and they have been quickly fixed. I upgraded to the Pro version and it's been well worth it to me.

This serves my limited downloading of videos from YouTube very effectively. Will upgrade to Pro version when needed.
