I've used this for years, and to be frank I liked it. Unfortunately, the app no longer works now.

Keep in mind that this does not seem to be the fault of the app itself; I've noticed that several other downloaders have experienced the same issue in that instead of the video, you download a 5 minute MP4 that says it's not available on this app and to watch it on YouTube.

Since this is happening to multiple Download apps, I can only assume that YouTube itself has found a way to trick these addons into downloading these empty MP4 clips instead of the video.

In short, I hope this app gets around this new issue; In the meantime, screw YouTube with a jackhammer.

Like others have reported it doesn't work anymore, even at 360p.

This addon's not working properly. MP4's just give's a "the following content is not available on this app. watch this content on the latest version of youtube"

Now can't download in 720p unless you pay for it. Only 360p download is a crap.

No longer downloads videos/mp3s, and even when it "worked" it was barely working. So disappointed in this extension, I even wasted money on it. Don't bother, just use one of the million free websites for this, they work so much better

This add-on advertises that it will download YouTube videos in 1080 HD after you pay and upgrade to PRO version. However, after you pay and upgrade to PRO, there are, first, horrendous downloading issues, then, in a short period of time, the 1080 HD download option stops working, and you can no longer download in 1080 HD. Support does not offer any help after you contact them. I am not going to pay again. We should NOT have to pay again. Then the creator of the add-on gets the audacity to actually complain that he is not getting enough "donations" for this broken and ridiculously flawed add-on! Buyer BEWARE !!! This is false advertisement, and it is a scam.

I'm a PAID PRO User, and this was working fine until recently. Now it's saying mp3 downloads only work for PRO Users (which I am). I refuse to pay again!

PRO User account recently doesn't work anymore. Already paid for this account. Other paying customers have the same problem. Will not pay again.

Regretably this app has not worked for some time and there seems to be no updates happening. When you click the button it just sits on generating link and does not progress any further. Shame as it was a damn good app. There is no way to contact the dev to ask what's happening.
