Apparently the developer has abandoned support for this add-on but is still accepting donations. I recommend using Video DownloadHelper or Youtube Downloader, both of which (at the time of this writing) are functional and free.

This time it took longer for me to fix and then ever longer for mozilla to review and approve the update. Three clicks and you have the download. What I like the most are the easy file types. You pick what you want, now it's yours!
