Erupt Download Manager is the companion browser extension for the Erupt Download Manager (EDM) desktop app. It lets you send videos, audio, images, and files from supported websites to the EDM desktop downloader with one click — no manual link copying.

▎Features
· One-click video download button — a download button appears on supported video players; click it to send the task to the desktop app.
· Right-click menu — download links, images, videos, or batch-download page resources via the context menu.
· Native download takeover (optional) — when enabled, supported file downloads are handed over to the EDM desktop app for faster, resumable downloads. This feature is off by default and requires your explicit consent.
· Per-site and global switches — enable or disable the button for individual websites or globally.
· Multi-language — available in 16 languages.

▎How it works
This extension works together with the Erupt Download Manager desktop application installed and running on your computer. When you click download, it sends the download task to the local desktop app over your computer's loopback connection (localhost). All processing happens on your machine.

▎Privacy
· Data (such as the resource URL and, for supported video sites where you are logged in, session cookies) is sent only to the local EDM desktop app on your own computer.
· We do not upload your browsing history, cookies, or download records to any third-party server.
· We do not sell or share your personal information.

EDM is intended for downloading content you own, content the platform expressly permits downloading, or public-domain content.
