GetTimetracker Add-on is a companion to the GetTimetracker web app (https://app.gettimetracker.app). It puts a tiny start/stop timer in your browser toolbar so you can log time against your projects without switching tabs.

What you can do

See whether a time log is currently running.
Pick a workspace, project, and optional task, then start a new log in one click.
Stop the running log from anywhere — the change syncs back to the web app instantly over the same secure connection.
Reuse one of your recent log names from a dropdown.


How it connects to your account

Click Connect with account in the popup. The Extension opens a short handshake page on the GetTimetracker web app, which mints an extension-scoped token and hands it to the Extension. Your password and your main session cookie are never read.

What the Extension stores

Only the extension token, your selected workspace ID, and the API base URL — all kept in your browser's local extension storage and sent only to the GetTimetracker backend.
