WHAT THE EXTENSION HANDLES

1. Account credentials (authentication info)
   Your GlobalVPN username and password are stored locally in your browser
   (storage.local) and sent only to our own servers to authenticate you:
2. https://api.cloudstudio-app.org/api/proxy/login (sign-in)
3. as a Proxy-Authorization header to our proxy server
   They are never sent to any third party.
4. Browsing activity
   While connected, your browser traffic is routed through our encrypted proxy
   server in Germany (EU). To route a request, the server necessarily receives
   the destination host. This is how any VPN or proxy works.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We operate a strict no-logging policy. We do NOT log or monitor:
- your browsing history
- traffic data or content
- DNS queries
- the websites you visit
- your IP address during the VPN session

Connections use HTTPS CONNECT tunnelling, so page contents remain encrypted
end-to-end and are never readable by us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use
analytics, advertising, or tracking code in this extension.

RETENTION

Credentials remain in your browser until you log out or remove the extension.
Operational connection records (timestamps and bandwidth totals, used for
quota enforcement) are deleted automatically after 7 days.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any
time by contacting support@globalvpn.online.
