When you access a product through an affiliate link, Honey will replace the website's affiliate cookies with their own, effectively stealing the affiliate fee from the influencers who brought you to the website in the first place.
They also seem not to show the best coupon deals on purpose when a website pays them to do so. Avoid at any cost, uninstall if you have it.
There's currently a lawsuit by the youtuber Legal Eagle about this.

This add-on is a scam, allowing companies to pay to hide the best coupons from you, and stealing money from content creators by secretly replacing affiliate links with their own. This behavior is not only unethical, it is illegal under California's Unfair Competition Law. Do not use.

Simply revolting, they scam affiliate marketers by giving any commisions to PayPal Honey. They deliberately hide the best coupon codes. This is honestly ridiculous.
