HVSecrets provides a password-manager workflow that stores credentials in your own HashiCorp Vault KV v2 backend.
The extension detects login forms, shows saved credential suggestions next to username and password fields, fills selected credentials, and prompts to save or update credentials after login attempts. Credentials are stored per exact origin, so different schemes, ports, and subdomains are kept separate.
HVSecrets supports Vault token authentication and Vault OIDC login. Vault tokens stay in the extension background context and are not exposed to content scripts. The extension uses local browser extension storage for configuration and token state.
This add-on is intended for users who already operate a HashiCorp Vault instance and want browser password-manager behavior backed by their own Vault.
