I had practically abandoned this project, but your comment motivated me to get something more out of this extension.

I have to admit that I’m not a developer; I work as a salesperson in a furniture store and just took up programming as a hobby because it interests me and I enjoy it. Unfortunately, I currently lack the skills to figure out how to implement downloading Stories. As soon as I figure it out, I will, of course, update the extension.

I just uploaded a new version, which should now properly handle photo carousels, so you can choose and extract the ones you want, whereas previously, the extension probably only worked on the first photo.
