The reason is a technical innovation in the Google Chrome browser from version 127. 😟

With the Firefox browser you can continue to use version 3.5 of our extension, as Mozilla has not yet implemented this technical innovation. 😌

Unfortunately, important developers are currently on vacation to make the necessary adjustments. 🏖️

As soon as the core crew is back, a new version with some bug fixes and new features will be released. 🎁

Sadly, as im writing this on september 1st 2024, The Extension doesn't work on Firefox.

I'm still giving it a 5 star review, its the least i can do since i cannot donate money atm.

needs an update. playlist video detection & selection doesn't work.

With this extension, you can no longer select videos on the playlist screen.

I would like the developer to fix it.

For some reason today this extension stopped being able select videos when I click on them. Somehow it does select them when I'm not logged into the site (but strangely not in private mode if I'm still logged in).

Sorry I couldn't find a more suitable place to report this issue than the reviews section.

Most important extension I use everyday. When it stopped working on Chrome (I use Arc Browser) my daily workflow of organizing playlists to listen to at work grinded to a halt. People and the Developer say Google changed things and that is why it stopped working on Chrome. So I started using Firefox again because the extension worked over here and now it doesn't work here. WTF! Why is this dev the only person to have come up with this concept in the way that works for me as PocketTube does not work in the way I need it too. I was willing to blame Google for breaking his extension but now that it is broken on Firefox I am really starting to wonder what is going on with this developer.

Would rate this a 5 star typically, was such a wonderful and needed extension. Has stopped working regularly. First on Chrome, now on firefox. I can get the widget to appear, but can't select videos or filter anymore? Hope dev fixes it. Such a needed functionality that Youtube chooses not to provide.

People, find the patreon for this app and start donating SOMETHING or this app might whither. This is a killer app. I don't know how I existed before without this. The more you use it, the more you realize how useful it is. The name of it completely underplays what its actual power is. On August 8 2024 there seemed to be a problem after a Chrome update but it was still working, mostly but not always, at Firefox.

Turn the extension off when you aren't actively using it.

• The addon makes YT much easier to use, but I really wish it would include a way to sort playlists by channel and length (since YT refuses, for some reason, to include that in the built-in sorting function). 😕


• This is a pretty great extension and makes YouTube a LOT more usable, but I just don't understand why it uses RANDOM ELEMENT NAMES. 🤨 Why does it create elements called "msfy-wrapper-########" with random names instead of a proper defined name? That just makes it hard to style it with CSS (eg shrinking the overlay or changing colors). 🤦 I can't see any practical reason for this, and even if there is, surely there's a way to accomplish that purpose with a proper standardized way instead of this, such as doing that with a class or ID instead of *tag-name*.

Crazy good functionality, but it's so heavy on resources that, I need to turn it off when you not composing playlists. Loading page on firefox on linux have enough lag to eat 2 candies or drink half glass of b33r.

Really good when it works but one of the most useful features is gone.

In recent times I can't choose to move my selections to the top of bottom. The youtube site can do this for individual videos but not multiselect. Please fix.

Ok... It isn't working properly again. I can select videos and load my entire playlist which is useful BUT, now i cant move multiple videos to a certain spot like i used to. I also can't delete videos from the playlist while this extension is running. Hoping the devs fix this issue soon!

Worked perfectly until a few days ago.
Another youtube update probably broke the add-on and now i can't delete multiple videos other than on the watch later playlist

I can clear my playlist in 3 clicks, strange YT took this feature away.

Used to work good but doesn't do anything anymore.

Useful, but missing a delete from playlist option and the ability to keep the selection after performing an action - usually I want to add some videos to another playlist and then delete them from the current one

Most useful addon for selecting multiple videos, and clearing playlist! I would recommend this to anyone!

Works wonderfully and is simple to use, helped me clean up my huge playlists
